Ok where do I start?
Saturday I have a 5 top. 5 old women from scotland. They have 2 bottles of wine, dinner goes well. 9 30 they are finished, I proposed them deserts and coffees, they say they ll have 2 more bottles of wine for desert and 2 coffees. Cool...10 15 pm wine glasses are empty, they dont want anymore coffees, I ask them if they d like an after dinner drink they say no. Ladies, anything else i can do for u this evening? no. so I drop the check on the table. My manager makes me clock out as i dont have any table left so i am just waiting for them to pay. One hour pass....I refill water 2 times in between...next thing i know it s 11 45 pm , one of those b###hes call me and they want some after dinner drinks. I take the order, it takes the bartender 10 mn to make it...here comes the problem , they are outside and i cant serve liquor outside after midnight in california, it s the law. I gently tell me if they could move inside and explain them why . Next thing u know they starts yelling ( they were a bit drunk ) they call the manager, tell him i dropped the check as soon as they finished the food, never asked them if they wanted desert or coffee ( they had coffee ) and all i have been doing is waitin for them to leave and how they could have spent much more if i d have asked them if they wanted more drink.
Next thing i know my manager is just yelling at me , i told him my version of the story but of course i am wrong. i got pissed of , asked him to transfer the check and didnt even wanted the tip they left ( 15 bucks on a 277 dollars check )
Also we all used to work 5 shifts, that s the deal i had when i got hired, last week he hired 4 new people and i am down 3 shits....i am sooo lookin for a job but it s hard to find a good place in san diego....
