Very slow lunch today...at about 1:00, this family comes roaming in. I see the fat, ugly daughter slurping something from a Burger King cup. I'm thinking, "Eww, you are a mess and your parents are worse for allowing you to be bringing in a foreign beverage!" I am filling a glass of soda or something, just being disgusted over these slobs at the front door, when my buddy says, "Can you friggin believe this?" I said something like, "I know...their own drinks!" He then pointed out to me that, along with their Burger King sodas, the kids had BAGS OF FOOD from Burger King. That is never ever ever ever acceptable but it's not even as if the children were really little, they were probably in the 12-ish range (actually, I don't think the daughter was ever, at any point, "little"). The family was at the front for a while...the hostess was telling them they could not bring in outside food and they were going on about how "Our kids don't like adult food." What is adult food? You have baby food, ya know pureed fruit, for babies with no teef...then there's food. THANKKKKKKFULLY, I didn't have this table. OHHHHHHHH...almost forgot...so, yeah, they were seated, complete with their BK...I don't know whose idea this was (owner, hostess, waitress?), but the idea was that the paper bags would look bad on the table...so we f*cking plated the fast food for them.
