Hello everyone,
I wish I could join you all for another season of Ultimate, but something has come up. I have been diagnosed with oral cancer. The good news is, it is treatable - so I hope to participate in my 17th league season, next spring.
For those who may not recognize my name - I'm the slightly fast, slightly old, slightly short guy who would often pre-write cheers to the tunes of popular songs (...oh, that guy!)
I'm not asking for much - condolences and well-wishes will be much appreciated. For those of you who would like to help out a bit, I may need to request something as simple as a car ride. I am just starting chemotherapy & radiation treatment. The radiation is tolerable, but the chemotherapy may leave me in a state in which I can't get around on my own safely.
