We can chat about this. I want to spend as little time as possible in post, and as this stuff is just league heckle fodder, the less the better.
My son, Reese, lost the software disc (Pixelera) that came with his camera, so for these videos I've just downloaded the raw files. The only thing that takes time is the filenames use alpha characters after 9s; 19, 1A, 1B, etc. to F; so to get the files to order up correctly I have to add 9s to files as required. Last night's files only got up 4E, so there weren't that many to change. I have no idea if Pixelera will alleviate this; I'm getting a replacement disc.
From there I just grab everything and publish them to a wmv file in Windows Moviemaker. The publish takes about 20 mins, I don't have to babysit it. Then I upload to Vimeo, which is about 3 clicks followed by 8-10 hours of uploading (out in AJ, we don't get great connect speeds).
So, I'm interested to a degree, but I'm not into spending time editing, highlights, whatever. I believe these Vimeo files are downloadable, so if someone is into that, they are welcome to have at it.
