Alright, here we go... sorry for the delay avid readers. And thank you for the encouragement, it's nice to know people like reading these, plus I love analyzing disc, it's a ton of fun.
Game 1: Just add Sugar vs. Huck My Life
*Game of the Week
My opinion on this game changed last night when one of the Sugar players was talking and said, “Eh, I don’t know if I want to go to league tomorrow or go to a bar in Scottsdale.” At that point I lost my faith in Sugar. I believe that individual has decided to play in the game now, but I just feel like the energy and enthusiasm is not there for Surgar. Huck my Life on the other hand… well I’m just going to put this out there… Kaetlynn could probably power a small city with her enthusiasm, and as far as I know Al Taylor and X-Ray have been loving this game for well over 100 years now. I pick Huck my Life for the win.
Game 2: Inglorious Backhanderds vs.Town Tricycle
Inglorious, even though being a pre-season favorite for some hasn’t really done a bunch this season, unfortunate for them, they’ve been playing a bunch of the top teams including Pen is Mightier and Huck my Life. Still unfortunate is that they’re playing the top ranked Thursday team tonight, and if statistics mean anything, Town Tricycle is going to get a pretty easy win tonight.
Game 3: Midnight Passion vs. Short Flick/Looong Hammer
Short Flick long hammer has seem to find their groove. After starting out 0-3, they’ve won their last two games, one of them against a solid Thursday team. Midnight has yet to find their groove and I don’t think tonight is going to be that night. I give Looong Hammer the win on this one.
Game 4: Confessions of a Huckaholic vs. Huckalumps
Awww… the battle of the bottom, gotta love it. With a combined point differential of -32, with a combined record of 1-9, both these teams are going to be playing their hearts out for a rare taste at victory this evening. Anybody one person will be able to rise to the occasion, will that one person be Tricky? Probably not. I think the Huckalumps are staring 0-6 right in the eyes.
