In support of what Jose is saying, no one "Intentionally" calls bad calls. I think they always believe what they are calling is accurate. However, there are players who will use the rules only when it benefits them. For example, if someone gets d'd on a deep throw and there is a little contact, they will call the foul, but if they are on defense and they do the exact same thing they will argue that it was incidental. Again, it isn't that they are intentionally full of sh!t, it's just that they want to make the play or win and will get fired up.
I would say that the best thing you can do when you are in the situation is as follows (and I teach this to the ladies I coach). If you call the foul, and the person starts to argue or yell at you, just tell them to contest or no-contest and ignore their continued discussion. If they call a foul on you, and you disagree vehemently, instead of getting pissed off, contest and move on. This will help keep you focused and keep the game moving.
