There's a one-day *competitive men's tournament* this saturday, Oct. 18 from 12:00-7:30 at the SRC fields at ASU; details are below. We are trying to field two teams of VOTS players to give the ASU men's team some solid, varied competition.
Please reply to me (little nate - if you don't have my e-mail addy, just reply here and I'll see it) to RSVP so we can get an idea of numbers; we'll take ~25 or so to fill out two teams of 15 that will be divvied hat-style.

Details:
The purpose of this tournament is to get our rookies a chance to play some unfamiliar opposition. we have more than doubled our team this year so we are very excited to run 2 squads for the first time. there are 4 teams confirmed so far. 2 vots teams would be great.
-all games are on the SRC fields at ASU
-There will be 5 rounds, no byes
-purely round robin, no championship game or what not
-first games start at 12pm (we have field space to warm up before hand, but not enough space for more than 2 full fields)
-games to 11
-90 mins between rounds, softcap at 70 mins, hardcap at 80 mins sound alright
-no tournament fee but donations greatly appreciated
-no water, bananas, oranges, bagels etc provided
-games at 12, 1:30, 3, 4:30, and 6 (fields do have lights)
-trainer is on site the whole day in case of injuries
-party that night for whoever is interested
