Folks -
Some of you may remember the volunteer day I organized a few years ago with Habitat for Humanity, helping to build a home in the East Valley for a very deserving family. It was a lot of fun, and I have been trying to set up another opportunity since then.
Happily, I was recently able to get a reservation for another volunteer building opportunity, and we have a few spots still open. The event is set for Saturday, October 11th. We will meet at the home site in Apache Junction (very) early in the morning and work until the early afternoon. You don't need any previous construction experience to help out, just a willingness to give up a little of your time & effort for a great cause.
