Don't misunderstand what I'm saying. I didn't say that the humor was sophomoric. I mean, I've seen juniors, nay, seniors, think this sort of humor was funny. Sophomoric, puh-lease.
I will acquiesce and say that it is possible that one, being you, thought that the "hcuk" design was more of a political statement directed at the attempt of French Connection to dupe the t-shirt market into purchasing t-shirts that resembled the word "f*ck". Of course, if you look at their product line of "fcuk this," "fcuk it," "too busy to fcuk," "cool as fcuk" and "lucky fcuk" I can see how you would think that "hcuk" was more of a dig at the company and not at the fact that it looks like "f*ck".
I'm not saying that the general masses are stupid or idiots or retarded. But, I did ask a couple people before my previous post just to make sure I wasn't assuming how the general masses would react. I would like to think that most folk would look at the actual letters in "hcuk" and after a short amount of time realize that they don't actually contain the same letters as in "f*ck". But, seriously, they're probably gonna think it, look you in the face, think something unpleasant and unfair, look at their children, pull them away from you, if only slightly, walk a little faster, talk to their spouses, tell their daughters, figure out that I play ultimate, and then BAM!! no more dates for Jose. Now, I ax you, is that the sort of world you want to live in?
