I honestly thought it was in the best tradition of good VOTS/Ultimate team names, heckles, and shirts. Funny (or at least attention getting) on the top level (look! it's HUCK, but spelled weird.), but funny underneath too (and the best heckles are funnier underneath). It's "Huck" but misspelled just like that French Connection company that caused everyone everywhere to get their panties completely bunched, but they couldn't do a thing about it. Outstanding!
Of course, I'm the guy who named the Spring Hat In Tempe league, and I thought "Weapons of Ass Destruction" was a *great* team name (along with the classic "Children of the Porn"). WOAD came around right after the WOMD debacle got us involved in the current war in Irag, and I thought it was a perfect combination of relevance (our team is going to kick your ass) and irreverence (poking fun at the Man).
Tragically, "Weapons of Ass Destruction" got changed (ironically, shortly before the porn film of the same name debuted. That still makes me laugh.), and Yahoo refused to let us create a yahoo-group with the name "ChildrenOfThePorn" (it was supposed to be a play off of the horror movie "Children of the Corn"). I'm more sympathetic (although only slightly so) of the COTP censorship, because child-porn (which was *never* the intention) isn't funny in any context.
Thankfully, I'm not in charge of the whole shebang, or we'd probably all be out on the streets begging for field time like the bums we all are, underneath.
