i draw a distinction between team names (although a couple of those have been denied in league history), which really only exist on the VOTS website, and shirt designs that are visible to everyone--players, family, city staff, sponsors (although we don't have one for this league), etc. that may reflect negatively on VOTS as an organization.
One can make an argument that this is inconsistent with the Spring Hat in Tempe league, and that's fine. But that existed on the website. We didn't make league shirts that said S.H.I.T. on them.
