I understand all of the arguments for and against allowing baggage. I have been on all sides of the issue and I get it that the draft is more complicated the more baggage is allowed.
However, the current Thursday league breaks the mold a bit because some games are in north Scottsdale and some are in Tempe (on the same night). Normally carpooling isn't a huge issue because games are at the same location. With the Thursday league spread out, Joe and I will have a total of two games in the entire season to which we can ride to together. In every other instance, we will be playing all the way across town from each other. Some people take winning very seriously and that's fine. But for most people, league is a relaxing, fun way to spend one night a week, ideally with their significant other, or kid, or friend. Or at least driving from their house together. Does this seem unreasonable?
I'm not sure if I'm pissed off or just disappointed, so feel free to tell me if I'm way out of line. But it would've been really cool if the captains had at least considered baggage requests.
