A comment/personal opinion (which I know is shared by many/most of the VOTS community):
Baggage is for:
- beginners who got talked into playing and want to be on the talker-into-'er's team
- married couples which contain at least one average-at-best-or-below-average-skill player.
- kids playing on mom/dad's team, and the kid is average-at-best-or-below-average skill level.
Any other baggage is a spirit foul...
And "I need to carpool" is just a scam to try to get around this. There's always someone to carpool with if you really need to.
The intent of the draft is to make all teams as even as possible, skill-wise. Baggage that even seems like maybe it might be an attempt to get around this intent should be denied.
