There is no such thing as a 1958 Midge doll. The 1958 date refers to when Mattel patented the Barbie body. Barbie was first on sale in 1959 and Midge was first on sale in 1962 or 1963.
Look on the box. There might be a date on the box. What color is doll's hair, and what does the ponytail look like? What does the box look like--that is, what outfits are pictured on it? Do you have a way of adding a photo of the doll? Before anyone can determine a value, we need to know what the doll IS.
