I can't tell you the value, but I can tell you the necklace was a promotional item for the Sweet 16 Barbie in 1974. If you bought the doll, there was a coupon on the back of the box to send away for the necklace.
I used the see the necklace periodically for sale in the 1980s at flea markets and garage sales, but I haven't seen one in years.
