There have been only a few dogs in Barbie's world that had actual "fur." There were some poodles in the mid-1960s, but they were gray; and Tutti's oversized dog was white. Barbie had an Afghan hound in 1983 with very long straight pale tan hair and a long pointy nose, and the dog was huge! All of the other dogs that I know about have been molded plastic.
