oooii ooiii... terasa nih, i have been staying here in the northern region for more than 2 years le... i think that statement is a crude generalization. not everyone is dim-witted and backward, the place is not tat polluted, in fact, the north is a beautiful place n everyone here is so friendly (too friendly sometimes 
). our 'Scottish' fren further north in Edinburgh would agree with me.
to be fair, the south is now very 'rojak' (hahahha, too many immigrants, crime rate rising, esp London, hip? royal? er... not so much anymore)... in the north, everywhere u go, u see ang mo's n feels like u re in UK. In london, everywhere u see lots of races (not to be racist) like Malaysia (Indian la, African la, Eastern European la, Chinese la.... the list goes on)
regarding the girls le, they re definitely larger than most parts of UK, confirm, esp the males' favourite areas. n i agree about with therock on how easy it is to pull the birds here in the north. i heard it is much easier in Aus, sw please verify.
sw, the accent n slang is so difficult to pick up, i've been trying but i still speak like Malaysian, hahaha... Proud to be a Malaysian! anyway, i agree with you, i like the british accent
as for mcclaren, he is Sh*t. 'nuff said.
