Posted by Mike Kratz This morning on my way to work, I saw the water level at Hodges close to the parking lot across the street from Hernandez's Hideaway! It is about 8' 0" off the spillway, and appears to be still rising. I don't think the City of San Diego will be any hurry to accomodate us windsurfers, so we need to get that squeaking wheel rolling, so they don't forget us. Brian no longer has the concession on the Lake, and the new pump station is goning to be constructed between now and 2008. So if we are going to be albe to sail on hodges in the next 4 years, we are going to need to start a lobbying effort to allow us access to the lake. The lower parking lot accross the street from Hernandez's was originally built for the windsurfers, so we need to see if we can use it again. Best reguards, Mike
