Hello! My family will be relocating to Franklin county next month, returning to the US after five years in Alberta, Canada. I must admit that homeschooling or "alternative" educational options never had entered my mind, but after five years as a SAHM of two boys (5 & 3), I am questioning how prepared I am to send them off to public school. I am ALSO questioning how prepared I would be to homeschool -- it seems more than daunting. However, my closest friend has homeschooled her 7-year-old with tremendous satisfaction, and I would like to find out more. Would any Franklin county homeschoolers be willing to chat and share info, both on homeschooling options in the area, and/or about the public school system in and around St. Albans? Any advice or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this!
