I am a recently retired teacher now working individually with a number of home schooled children. I have adapted a number of Shakespeare plays for performance by younger children (ca. ages 9-14) and have directed over 20 Shakespeare plays with children. I would like to set up a Shakespeare performance group for home schoolers in the Richmond, Williston, S. Burlington, Essex area. I am in preliminary stages now, looking to see if: A. there is any interest in such a program, and B. if anyone knows of a facility in the area that might be available for reasonable rent--a stage would be wonderful, but any large, open, heated area will do.
