To get started, you need to call the state Dept. of Ed (DOE) and ask for a homestudy packet. You need to get a paper signed by your ped or someone that your child is not handicapped, and you need to write a course of study that they "approve." You are not legally allowed to homeschool until you hear back from the DOE saying that your paperwork is all set.
