There is currently no law in the state of Vermont that states a minimum number of days and/or hours that any student must be "in school" for homeschoolers. You are responsible to meet the outline of what you said you would cover in your paperwork to the state. You can do that however it seems best for you and your child. That is the beauty of homeschool. If you have only one homeschool child it is easier to custom tail their education based on their needs, so STOP stressing yourself and your daughter. Relax! If it works for your family to only do a couple hours a day, or a few hours every other day, or any combination of hours per day, then do it the way that works best.
