As previously mentioned, a head-to-head victory doesn't necessarily mean one should be ranked above the other. I take the collective body of work into account. I also have kids that took 3rd above kids that finished 2nd, they never wrestled and the 3rd place kid may have wrestled a closer match with the eventual champion. For example, Sergio Lemley (Michigan) pounded Real Woods (Iowa) but Lemley's ranking never succeeded Woods. Woods even got a higher seed in the Big10 Tournament. Just saying....
