What he did is very impressive. He went undefeated in his high school career! So what if he didn't want to wrestle in college? Most high school wrestlers don't. Maybe he has bigger plans in life than what he did in high school? I have been around this sport for more years than I want to say and have traveled all over the USA for wrestling. Fargo, Cadet Duals, Junior Duals, Kids Nationals, NHSCA Senior Nationals, etc. Yes, if you want to get noticed then you need to go to those but maybe he didn't need that? Maybe he just wrestled in state for the joy of wrestling without worrying about wrestling after high school? Long rant but over the years I get a little tired of people coming on and putting THEIR expectations of success onto someone else that has a totally different playbook for life. What he did was very impressive to me. I wish him well in the next phase of his life. This is all JMHO.
