That said, he is bringing higher level wrestling back to WA. How many D1 athletes are back in the state and coaching? He was warming up with his team and helping them with their technique - more than some other coaches do. He's also part of a business - of course he's going to don their outfit and do what he can to bring attention to their club. There is nothing morally or ethically wrong with him wrestling at WSWA state, wearing his team merchandise, and effectively advertising for his family's business. In and of themselves, these are all probably beneficial to WA wrestling.
Again, not defending his actions and antics. He has maturing to do, and as a parent I wouldn't want my kid to wrestle at a club with a coach whose values and morals are far outside the margins of my own. I will happily bring my child to another team where the coaches don't have recent D1 wrestling experience if they are a better influence on the character of my child.
Just providing perspective and acknowledge I may be talking out of both sides of my mouth for this one.
