Re: Tap Out Rule
There is another side to the tapout rule that got me thinking, over the years a few kids that could legitimately throw in a BJJ move to cause a tapout or serious injury. Hunter Cruz had the ability, so did Tyler Coates he was legendary at pushing his passout hold, Drury trained BJJ for years, Cook trains BJJ,Cameron Guerin, Dawley Abayta fights out of Yakima MMA.the fact these young adults didnt and do not thrown in moves that could legitimately tap out a wrestler is impressive, seems it would be very hard to stay disciplined when they see the BJJ move present itself yet they have to stick to wrestling skillsets. To have tap out moves in BJJ that are habitually performed but have to turn them off for wrestling, would be extremely difficult.
