I like video as it is not biased by any personal influences. If someone tells me I missed a call I always ask if I can see the video. That way when we view it I can show you WHY I made the call the way I did and "maybe" I didn't miss anything? On the other hand, there are times I might review the video with you, and see it from a different angle than I had, and agree that the wrong call was made. It happens and none of us are perfect.
I have had 2-3 video challenges in National Finals and the video upheld my call each time. As a coach I would throw the challenge flag if my wrestler was down in the match and it was a very close call. You've got nothing to lose in that situation since you can't put the challenge in your back pocket. Alas, video to confirm the call is ONLY used in National Finals and no other time that I am aware of.
PS: I think holding calls occur on almost every NFL play. It is only called some of the time. With calls, it is often just a matter of degrees.
