Re: This is the problem
If I have a net total HIGHER than my opponent in attacking AND I'm not blatantly running from action I AM NOT STALLING. Sorry not sorry. How come RED gets to generate a stall call so quick later in the match having done less TOTAL attacking and GREEN ends up attacking more but getting punished for getting an early lead. I know this isn't the optimal pleasing to the eye dynamic but there is no way that RED is deserving of the stall call against GREEN if green is engaging in the action. You are NOT promoting attacking you're REINFORCING those sneaky stallers. This thread is an a solute illustration. 2 coaches point out very similar problems and I assume Sealth Coach D also pays keen attention to these situations, and a REF comes in and goes "oh well are you sure it wasn't like this, because that, and then there, and then yeah". The typical stuff us coaches have to deal with when we have you dead wrong in a corner on a call ("his feet were in 100% of the action how is that out of bounds?"-"oh well yeah this there that, that's not what I saw") and we get an interesting explanation. Real news! It's OKAY to DO THE RIGHT THING and admit you're wrong more than ONCE a season. It's so obvious if you're guarding your call standing it hurts. Just let go man. Just let go. But thank you wrestlingref, for showing up and displaying that you guys sometimes just see what you wanna see and that's that.
