Re: Now that Mason has moved on
Like I said above, "Greatness" is defined differently by different people. I myself use the term lightly and probably too often. I say "he is a great kid" meaning he is a good kid. If you use the two definitions below (Oxford Living Dictionary) then we have had lots and lots of great wrestlers from our state and from every state. That being the case, how do we classify the guys that excel to an even higher level of greatness? Is it okay if we just start to call them "elite" wrestlers? I don't know and it really doesn't matter. It is just people talking about wrestling and that is always a good thing.
1. Of an extent, amount, or intensity considerably above average.
2. Of ability, quality, or eminence considerably above average.
