I guess "bashing" is in the eye of the beholder. Those two boys were featured on the front of the website when they both won national titles as Schoolboys and Novice. Even if they weren't ranked in preseason rankings they were on the mind of every ranker and any knowledgeable wrestling fan when they came in as Freshmen. I would imagine they were ranked near the top by the end of December in their freshman year and were winning titles by February.
At the request of someone very close to the boys I deleted EVERYTHING (good or bad) that came on the message board when they were in college. I didn't agree with it but I have always had the policy that deletions can be requested. The real world can be a tough place with lots of people having different opinions. My own son took more heat on here than either of those boys and I left it up, and I didn't consider it bashing. Someone just didn't think "little Jonny" (to steal a common phrase on here) was as good as dad thought. Or maybe they just didn't like his dad (ME)? Like I said, opinions are like *#$%*%#%s, everyone has one.
My opinion of bashing is what conservatives do to liberals and liberals do to conservatives on social media and in the news. The rest of us in the middle just want everyone to try and get along. Life is a lot easier that way. We are all Americans. JMHO
