BTB-I agree with you up until point 5. I believe you are misinterpreting rule 3-1-2. It is worded such to eliminate conflict by stating that a coach should not argue a judgement call and only misappropriation of a rule. Not to make a ref all powerful without accountability. A ref that try's to over rule a onsite DMP would be creating conflict where there shouldn't be any. If the referee him or herself is not dermatologist then they should stick to their expertise and let the medical official do their job.
A referee reading you post asked you for clarification to if he had the right to overrule the DMP and you indicated that he did. That is when I posted. Please don't use a rule clearly not meant for skin checks to mislead referees into thinking that they should have final say. If there is a onsite DMP they have the final say. Period.
By posting what you did you are undermining the officials that refereed this weekend by indicating that they could have stop the wrestler in question from wrestling if they disagreed with the DMP and that is unfair. They did their job and followed protocol. Stop making them look bad.
