Of course if a wrestler was not allowed to wrestle, especially post season due to any medical condition, the coach and parent would be upset. However if the tables were turned and their wrestler or team caught some really bad junk how would they feel then? All because it wasn't simply dealt with properly before hand.
When I do skin checks I have them spin slowly and if need be do it a second time if something catches my eye. I am also down on that mat and don't want to contract something nor do I want to bring it home to my wife or son. As Bob stated, he has only overruled 1 note in his career. In 11 years officiating I have overruled none but had to refer a wrestler to the on site physician for a professional ruling. That's what doctora are there for and honestly should be at every event.
