It's a ridiculous statement to say that LS does well due to transfers/move-ins. Brent Barnes is arguably the best coach in the state, due to the fact he is able to bring out the potential in his wrestlers. He allows them to peak, and perform their best many times when it counts, at state. Look at Heinzer, he lost to Raylin Lucey from Snohomish, and was pinned by Josh Martinez in the duals of 2007-2008, but he went on to win the state title, and then dominate in 2008-2009. The man just knows what to do in order to make his wrestlers great. It's a matter of when 1 or 2 move-ins/transfers happen, it makes the rich, richer. I personally don't care for the Lake Stevens program, because I'm really not a fan of dynasty's but I could never deny the great things Barnes has done for that program.
