I wrestled in the big 9 so we I wrestled in Moses Lake a few times. I remember the first time we wrestled them at our place. (Wenatchee) I was so impressed by the fact they brought a radio station to announce the matches back to Moses hole. This was back in the 80's.
We did beat them in 89. I think it was the first time we had beaten them in a dual in like 3 decades.
The difference between having a one town high school in a rural community is that the entire town gets behind the teams. Wenatchee has a good football team this year and the entire town turns out for the game
