Posted by P to the B on 3/11/2004, 4:20 pm The UNI men's basketball team will be gathering at Maucker Union on UNI's campus, on Sunday, Mar. 14 to view the NCAA men's basketball selection show. The team will begin gathering at 4:00 p.m., with the selections announced at 5:00 p.m. Fans are invited to attend and celebrate with the team. If parking on campus, fans should please park in the either the Gilchrist Lot or the Lang Lot.

UNI athletics will be selling mens basketball tournament championship t-shirts in honor of the Panthers first-ever Missouri Valley Conference championship. With the win, the men earned an automatic bid to attend the NCAA tournament.
The shirts will be available late Friday (Mar. 12) afternoon. Purchases can be made by calling the UNI ticket office (273-DOME) or Kelly Bockenstedt, UNI Athletic Development Coordinator (273-2471). T-shirts will also be available Sunday (Mar. 14) at the selection show party at 4:00 p.m. in the UNI Student Union. Cost for the shirts will be $20. All proceeds will support UNI athletics.
