I just saw on ValleyTalk where we are now ranked #39 again in the AP poll. SIU comes in at 32, Creighton at 35, and UNI at 39. Now, we did drop from 4 votes to 3 votes, but we still are getting recognized. I knew it would be hard to keep those votes since we played two bottom feeder teams in the Valley. Now, if we can win vs. Illinois State and then pull off the upset at Southern, we could be looking at a nice jump in the rankings, but until then, we just need to take care of business vs. Illinois State.
