Unfortunately, with buying over the internet you do not get to check a packs stitching, or feel the material. You certainly do not have the benefit of knowing how a certain pack feels on your back with some weight in it. They appear to be a solid and simple design...which I like. There are so many good backpacks out there. For example, if you go to Europe, there are experienced backpackers all over that carry packs with name-brands unknown to people from the US. These could be very good packs. How about you try it, and tell us what you think! 
Does Pro-lite have a friendly return policy?
