Hello all...
After many years of camping in the Mokelumne Wilderness, (Driving in on old logging trails), I have decided to start packing in and doing some overnighters this summer. I stumbled across your site wile looking for some advice about Bears and cutting my weight... I do a lot of day hikes in the Sierras with my Wife and Kids. My Wife actually suggested we do overnighters... Alone! (Kind of a get-away from the kids)
I am spending this winter buying new, lighter, gear... I hope to get some advice from experienced Packers....
