Another thing is that you arent allowed to bring stoves on board if they have been used and definitely no fuel. What I always do is wash the fuel bottle and stove carefully and repack it in its original box. Also, try and get your pack into a duffle or something that resembles a normal suitcase. You are less likely to get asked questions.
