The outdoor and camping community needs to be aware of a topic that affects the gear that is in use by our interest group. We should all consider chaning over to a metal water bottle for the purpose of transporting our water suppplies.
Many folks have already bought into this trend. I can see that this makes sense for students and atheletes that carry water with them to their events. The backpaking and camping community need to be aware of the weight factor when switching to a metal container - The weight may be a factor that would make switching hard if not impossible. It is a tough call.
The GSI Outdoors company has come out with a 'water filter friendly' offering called the 'DukJug' (pronounced Duck Jug) that is available in a lightweight BPA free Infinity Plastic version and also a Stainledd Steel version. These bottles have Backpacking features that are perfect for our community.
The Stanley PMI company is offering a Stainless Steel bottle that is geared to Students and to Atheletes. The 'Tattoo Inspired' graphics is what sets these bottles apart from the others.
Check all of these bottles out at http://www.WeDoCampstoves.com/water-bottles for a great selection and for super customer service.
