Posted by Bill on 9/14/2006, 5:30 am, in reply to "SEEKING FELLOW WEST MICHIGAN HIKERS" I am 55 married 31 years, family of three is almost out of the house. Recently retired, have been walking and day hiking the past two years. Mostly around the Lansing area and some up at Empire where we vacation. Just returned from the Grand Canyon, where the wife and I day hiked the North Kaibab to the supai tunnel, the south Kaibab to Cedar Ridge and the Tanner down for an hour then back up. I did the Bright angle down below the redwall and back the last day by myself. Seems as if the Tanner did my wife in, I should not have mentioned snakes. That and all the loose rocks. You can contact me at Will_snow_302@yahoo.com Sincerely Bill

Hello Tom,
Not a fast mover, and suffer from pinched nerves L4, L5 from time to time. Of course our first morning in the Grand Canyon they had to flair up (first time in a year).
Interested in finding someone to hike with. I have not done any overnight. I should be up for a 9-12 mile slow Day hike. Back has almost returned to normal.
