Renault Modus 1.4 2004 - Fault code C1605 #Archived Message

We have this chassis Code, C1605which will not clear and have looked high and low on many sites and books and cannot find a reference to it. The car has had the power steering pump(on column)overhauled by BBA, which went faulty and had to return it. Customer had car back for 2 weeks and a message flagged "check steering". Steering is fine,no loss of p.a.s as before. Strange that the original fault and subsequent fault/messages occur in the sun. Anyway, has anybody got a defind description of this code?
