Citroen C3 1.4 HDi 2004 Semi auto - Lost drive # Archived Message

    Hi all,
Here we have a Citreon C3, 1.4 hdi. The car broke a coil spring, we replaced the spring but managed to lose a small amount of gear oil in the process. Seemed to be a lack of info on where to top up the gear oil, how much to use and what oil it takes!

Rang citroen, they said it holds 2 litres of 75/85 manual transmission fluid, so drained it all out and topped it up with 2 litres through the breather. When I did this i undid the drain plug, topped up through he breather and the oil came straight out of the drain plug, just to make sure I was filling the right place.

Since then, the car lost drive. Checked codes on Solus and got:
    2 Slip(Clutch/Brakes) .Permanent Fault.
5 Oil Pressure Signal Fault .Permanent Fault.
    00000 Unknown Code.

I have since rang another Citroen dealer, they said that the gearbox should run ATF, not sure if this is correct because the old fluid wasn't red.

Not sure if fault could be because of wrong oil or something more serious?

    Any ideas greatly appreciated...
