Here are who I have as my first quarter of the season top 5....you can agree, not agree or be indifferent.
The Elite Teams
1. Vikings 4-0....ok it might sound like a homerish take, but its hard to argue against it
2. Colts 4-0.....new coach no problem, still Peytons team, still his way
3. Saints 4-0...quite an exciting team Brees is tearing it up
4. Giants 4-0....the other Manning with another stellar year
5. Patriots 3-1....this team seems to never die, they just plug in new guys around Brady and they win
6. Ravens 3-1....solid team, only loss is to Patriots
The Very Good Teams
7. Jets 3-1.....outside of the loss to Saints, they have looked flawless
8. Falcons 2-1....This should be a solid team
9. 49ers 3-1....only loss is to Vikings
10 Bears 3-1...only loss to packers
11.Steelers 2-2...the champs will rebound and get better
The Good Teams
12.Broncos 4-0....I don't know if I'm yet convinced this is really a 4-0 team
13.Eagles 2-1....When this team gets healthy it will be as good as they come
14.Bengals 3-1...surprise team for sure
15.Packers 2-2...Rodgers carries this team, if they can find a way to protect him they might be a playoff team, right now they are on the bubble
16.Chargers 2-2...very up and down
Teams on the Bubble
17.Cowboys 2-2...Romo has been horrible
18.Jaguars 2-2....still not consistent
19.Cardinals 1-2...don't look like a contender yet
20 Texans 2-2...show flashes of life
21 Titans 0-4...this is not an 0-4 team, but they have dug a huge hole
22.Dolphins 1-3
Then the Bad teams....I doubt any of these teams make any serious playoff push
23.Lions 1-3
24.Seahawks 1-3
25.Bills 1-3
26.Redskins 2-2
27.Raiders 1-3
28.Panthers 0-3
29.Chiefs 0-4
30.Buccaneers 0-4
31.Browns 0-4
32.Rams 0-4
