If you picked the Steelers, all I can say is "Shame on you."
(This is MY game recap for my friend who wants to read a sample of my game recaps...of course, I need to get player quotes added within this recap before I finish my final draft for her.)

Bears Upset Steelers with the Gould-en Touch
Bears 17, Steelers 14
BY JAY THOMAS
CHICAGO – When the Chicago Bears are looking to pull off a big win against the defending Super Bowl champions, the Bears can ask their kicker Robbie Gould to make one field goal for the entire game.
And that’s exactly what Gould did for his team.
With 20 seconds remaining in the game, Gould made a 44-yard field goal attempt to help the Chicago Bears pull off a 17-14 upset win over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Both teams are now 1-1 in the young 2009 NFL regular season.
Gould got his opportunity to make the game-winning field goal when Pittsburgh’s kicker Jeff Reed missed a 43-yard field goal attempt with 3:18 left in the game. He missed 2 field goals overall, both coming in the fourth quarter. The second field goal he missed would’ve given the Steelers the new lead late in the game.
With 11:37 left early in the fourth quarter, the Bears had a ray of hope after seeing Reed miss his first field goal in the game. It was a missed 38-yard field goal attempt, and it was still a one-possession game for the Bears.
Five minutes later in the quarter and with the ball on the Steelers’ 7-yard line, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler threw a touchdown pass to rookie Johnny Knox to tie the game up at 14-14 after the extra point was made with 4:11 remaining. Reed’s second missed field goal came nearly a minute later.
The Steelers scored first in the game. Their tight end Matt Spaeth caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Big Ben Roethlisberger in the first quarter. The Bears then tied the game up at 7-7 with 19 seconds left in the first half, after Bears tight end Kellen Davis caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Cutler.
The Steelers’ only scoring play in the second half came with 5:26 left in the third quarter, when Big Ben ran over the goal line himself for a 2-yard touchdown. The preceding play which enabled him to score the easy touchdown was a 39-yard run from Rashard Mendenhall from the Bears’ 41-yard line.
NOTES
Even without injured Brian Urlacher, the Bears’ defense stepped up in this game. They sacked Big Ben twice in the second half, and Charles Tillman intercepted a pass early in the second quarter. Bears defensive player Alex Brown got injured late in the fourth quarter and did not return. Bears tight end Greg Olsen got hurt in the second quarter when he attempted to catch an incomplete pass. He eventually returned later in the game.
