"Both Monday night games were much closer than anyone could have imagined. I figured they were both going to be pretty one sided."
I had to work during the first Monday night game last night, but like you I too was very surprised to see how close it was. New England may have a tougher time of it than people think this year since they lost several players via free agency, trades, and retirement. As far as San Diego goes, I could care less if they ever win another game. They ruined their team completely when they traded Brees a few years ago, and I think Rivers stinks.
The Packer game was extremely exciting. Toward the end I was thinking that if they blew the game and lost after intercepting Cutler 3 times (4 with the one at the very end) it would have been a damn shame. A 50 yard bomb on third and one ala Bart Starr took care of that. What an excellent call on third and short.
Yes, the Vikings won too.
