Thanks MC, and you're welcome. I talked to my wife's daughter, who is the supervisor of an IS department that writes code for a huge dental company in our area about the problem of the html table. If you remember when JohnnyRico talking about it, he had the same problem I had when trying to put a table in a message. The problem was that when I would try to put a table in a message it would always appear at the bottom of the message, and leave a huge blank spot between it and the top of the message (I hope that makes sense). So I told my wife's daughter that even when I right clicked on the message field and chose "View Source" which shows all of the html code used there was no code to delete to prevent this from happening. There must be a code to add but she could not come up with it, and as I've said I've e-mailed Boardhost but they were no help. It then occurred to me if I added the table in the "header" field there was only so far it could go!!!!
By the way, I really don't know jackshit about html coding, but I can read. All I did was Google "html table generator" and I found a site that let me add the necessary rows and columns I needed. One thing I did find interesting when generating the table was when I bolded the names and the top headings if I used the brackets [ ] with the letter b it would not bold the text, but instead merely showed all the codes along with the text I was trying to bold. I absolutely had to use the < > brackets with the letter b to create the bold text.
I'm definitely going to use the table every week next year (I'm hoping everyone still plays, or there is at least enough interest). I don't think I'll have any problems in the future as long as I keep the table in the header field at the top of the board. Every field is centered, except for the name field, so that should keep the numbers from jumping all over the place when I change them from week to week. It should work without a hitch from now on. But in the words of the greatest Cornhusker I know,
we'll see.
