23 to Oh!
We left early for the drive down to Indianapolis and the weather was nice, if a bit cool. We arrived just before 11 AM and had a snack at the Slippery Noodle, Indiana's oldest bar, located next to the nation's oldest Union Station.
A little after noon, we headed down the street towards the railroad elevation west of the station and came upon a truly sad sight- the remains of the imploded RCA Dome. I took a couple of pictures and we headed under the elevation. On the other side, towering before us, was the Lucas Oil Stadium. To say it was huge would be an understatement.
We made our way up all the steps and once inside walked around to where our seats were. When the game started, there were these guys who were dresssed like the Titans, but didn't play like them.
OK, maybe they were a backup version of the AFC South champs, and I read that the Titans didn't want to give anything away in case they played the Colts again in the playoffs. But, don't teams study videotape and films of each other?
Anyway, Peyton scored the first TD, Adam Vineterri scored 3 FGs, and there was a run for a TD. The Titans looked like they weren't even trying. So, I guess the only thing they gave away was 23 points.
We spent almost $300, but it's Christmastime, and we had fun. Now, the Colts must win In San Diego.
Oil's well that ends well Angie.
