Actually, I have rooted for the Giants from the time I took an interest in football in 1961, before the Jets even existed. YA Title was the QB, Alex Webster the FB, Del Shofner was one wideout and the other was a former running back/defensive back who you may have heard of whose name is Frank Gifford. The Defense had such standouts as Sam Huff, Andy Robustelli, Jim Katkavich, Rosie Grier, Jim Patton, and Dick Lynch... Joe Nameth passing to Don Maynord, Bake Turner, and George Saur helped turn me into a huge Jet fan and they became my number 1 team. But I never stopped rooting for the Giants and even was lucky enough to attend many Giant home games during the mid and late 80s (The Phil Simms, Lawrence Taylor years), thanks to an Uncle who had season tickets. In fact, I appeared on Monday Night Football one evening during a Giant/Redskin game, as many of my friends told me the next day that they saw me on TV.
