2010 Rules are Now Posted - New Pure Stocks Introduced
...Where Speeding is Legal!

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA - Rules for the 2010 season are now posted online at www.outlawmotorspeedway.com. and the New Pure Stock division is announced.
This coming season, there will be a new weekly class added, the new Pure Stock division. Five divisions will be racing weekly, featuring Pure Stock, Factory Stock, Grand National, 360 Modified and USRA Modified with Late Model, Sprints, Front Wheel Drive and Mini Stocks visiting in specials.
The new Pure Stock division is designed to be an inexpensive class and for those less experienced.
"We looked at our divisions and knew we needed to have a class that a person can start out in inexpensively and grow with the car," said OMS track co-owner Danny Womack on the Pure Stock division. "This is a perfect class for those who are wanting to get into racing with out breaking the bank."
The Pure Stock division is your basic car street legal with some very limited modifications, most of which are for safety. Pump gas will be the only fuel option and if it didn't come on that make or model it wont be allowed. The car will have to be completely stock, like it came from the manufacture to be in this class.
The previous Pure Stock division has been renamed Factory Stock with some rule changes on performance.
Grand National had a few tweaks in the rules department adding Strut cars and a transmission option.
The 360 Modified division took on a transmission option as the USRA Modifieds had no changes at this time.
